Altrusa Foundation

Altrusa Foundation of Longview-Kelso is a US non-profit organization that is partnering with Amity Foundation in China to bring assistance to many of the Jiangxi province orphanages.  Currently they sponsor about 300 children in foster care, 160 children in school and 50 "Hugging Grannies" for the orphanage children.  Many medical needs are provided, as well as other needs such as clothing, coats, formula, blankets, cribs and beds, playground and rehab equipment, washers and dryers, and heaters/air conditioners.

The normal Altrusa website (www.altrusa.ws) has been experiencing problems and has been taken offline for maintenance.  We hope to have it up soon.  Please check back often for access.

Although the Altrusa website in down, our projects are ongoing and potential sponsors and/or those wishing to make donations should contact Dr. Peggy Gurrad by email.
